2006 is behind us, and it was a tumultuous year indeed. It started with me firmly ensconced aboard Hercules, the vessel I'd sailed for several years, and ended off the coast of Australia. I have given up trying to figure out what's next. I was always told in the oil field, only two people can tell the future out here; a new guy and a damn fool. I try to be neither.
